New Joe Davies Clips! (Captin Beefheart, Zydafunk) sent us these MP3 clips of his (new) Goodsell Super 17 MK2 (replacing his original Clairmont Super 17 #0031) with a LPs and Strats straight into the amp.
Joe writes:
"I'm just digging this amp so much, I had to let you know. All volume was on about 2 or 3. All recorded sounds were straight into the amp with a little reverb added at mixdown. Cheers, Joe"

Joe Davies (Captin Beefheart, Zydafunk) kindly offered these MP3 clips of his Goodsell Super 17 with a LPs and Strats straight into the amp. More to Come. Goodsell Super 17 w/ Les Paul
Goodsell Super 17 w/ Stratocaster
Thanks to Joe for this new clip! Both guitar tracks were done with a strat with humbuckers. The left rhythm track was played with my guitar’s volume turned down so it was pretty clean. The right lead track was just turning the guitar’s volume up to get some grit and going through a delay pedal. Come Together
Recorded on Boss BR-1180 using the Goodsell Super 17 amp for both electric guitar parts. Amp was close-mic'ed with an SM-57. I used my Guild for the acoustic parts. Bass was a six-string electric guitar played through the BR-1180 bass sim. Drums by Greg Morrow of Discretdrums. Copyright 2006 Mark Gordon BMI Super 17 & Mark Gordon
