From the dusty, oily laboratory of world-renowned Hammond organ guy Richard Goodsell comes a new family of EL84-based 17 watt guitar amplifiers with astonishing tone and playability. With transformers and topologies inspired by vintage Hammond designs from the 50s and 60s, and with a respectful nod to our British forebears, Chicago meets Liverpool and takes a gig in Nashville...

"I build a no-BS amp that is simple, clean, unpretentious, easy to use, and rewarding to play,..." Richard G.

Like it's glorious godfather, the Hammond B3, the Goodsell Super 17 series amplifiers enjoy a tone and a harmonic richness found only in old-school assembly techniques and vintage iron. Each point-to-point hand-wired amp benefits from a total lack of innovation; no pretense, no extra useless knobs to compensate for one-dimensional tone - just a magical simplicity of execution to achieve an amazingly diverse palette of musically useful sounds

We match and re-match all output tubes on our MaxiMatcher digital tube tester and all pre-amp (V1) and phase inverter (V2) tubes are carefully selected using our Vacuum Tube Valley Dual Triode Characterizer.
